Carl Rudolf Huber (1839-1896)
Carl Rudolf Huber was an Austrian painter and graphic artist.
Carl Rudolf Huber studied at the Academy of fine arts in Vienna and Düsseldorf. In 1875 he went on a trip to Egypt with Leopold Carl Müller, Hans Makart and Franz von Lenbach. From 1880 he worked as a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where he taught a school for animal painting, at which Alexander Pock was his student. Huber was best known for his animal pictures and portraits .
