Stanisław Fabijański (1865-1947)
Stanisław Ignacy Fabijański was a Polish painter, illustrator, poster maker.
He began his artistic studies in Lviv with Leonard Marconi. In the years 1883 – 1888 he studied at the Krakow School of Fine Arts, among others, under the supervision of Władysław Łuszczkiewicz, Florian Cynek, Leopold Löffler and Jan Matejko. In 1888 he went to Munich and studied with Aleksander Wagner at the local Academy of Fine Arts . He traveled to Italy and France, and after returning to Poland, he lived in Krakow.
