Franz Hienl-Merre (1869-1943)
German painter, graphic artist and theater painter (Franz Hienl-Merre was born in 1869 in Munich. He studied with Weinhold and Adolf Münzer. He became a painter and theater painter. Franz undertook study trips through Italy and northern France. He was a member of the Luitpold Group and the Reich Association of German Artists. He was active in Munich.Thieme- Becker and Dressler.
