Johan Joachim Streng (1707-1763)
Johan Joachim Streng, born 1707 in Stockholm, died 1763 in Stockholm, was a Swedish painter, sculptor and portrait painter.
Johan Joachim Streng was self-taught, possibly apprenticed to Lorens Pasch the Elder. He painted portraits in oil, sometimes even miniatures, which are usually better than the somewhat dry oil paintings.
