Timoléon Lobrichon (1831-1914)
Timoleon Marie Lobrichon was a painter of genre scenes and portraits. He was born in Cornod (Jura) on April 26th 1831. He was a pupil of Picot winning medals in 1868 & 1882 and was awarded the Legion of Honour in 1883.
He is known in particular for his compositions featuring children, widely reproduced at the time in the form of engravings, by the international house Goupil & Cie .
