Jacob Pieter van den Bosch (1868 – 1948)
Jacob Pieter van den Bosch, better known as Jac. van den Bosch, was an influential architect and furniture and interior designer at the beginning of the 20th century. Van den Bosch was taught at the Rijksschool voor Kunstnijverheid in Amsterdam by P.J.H. Cuypers, the architect of the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station. Van den Bosch founded together with H.P. Berlage ‘t Binnenhuis, a furniture workshop in Amsterdam that was active from 1900 to 1929.
