Reinier Willem Petrus de Vries (1874 – 1952)
Reinier Willem Petrus de Vries jr. was a Dutch artist. He was a painter, draughtsman, bookbinding designer, and made etchings and woodcuts.
He studied at the Rijksnormaalschool in Amsterdam, obtaining the MO drawing there. In 1904, De Vries became co-editor of the magazine De vrouw en haar huis, founded by Elis Rogge, for three years. From 1913 to 1935, he was a drawing teacher at an HBS in Hilversum.
De Vries was a son of publisher and antiquarian R.W.P. de Vries sr.(1841-1919).
